Earthing
Here is how i earthed the HID's (I only had two cable joins left and the one in the pic is a bit feched, but i was planing on replacing this asap.
)
If that earthing is not good enough ill run the black cable to a different earth on the car.

1. what about anual roadworthiness test? I don't know the exact translation! Then you have to put original lamp set back? As much as I know there should be headlamps washer + self leveling system + different standart of headlap glass to complete all instalation + validation
2. what about dazzling?
sorry for poor english

interesting
so, you don't have any regulations that only original headlamps set should be used?...I mean about HID's, not about audi 80 lamps and RS2 lamps. Of course RS2 laps can be fitted.. just without HID. So, what are the regulations of fitting HID to any (audi S2
) car?

not always . . . I mean You have to connect earth to body. It depends what kind of HID do You use. I' m dealing with HID some time and for las year, only with ( http://www.souz-96.com/xenon.php ). This HID earth needs to be connected to the body, but I had a couple of years ago Hella product and all connections (+12V and -) are connected straight to the original light connector.
I changed my headlight 2 weeks ago, 3b original -> ellipsoid. The high and low are both 5000K HID. Las ones were too 2x xenon, but how can I say it . . . new light is new. I can see much more than before
If I get some time I will post some pictures
P.S> I even installed fog light to HID

I've just ordered a set through the link on the S246parts site. I'm not a member on that forum. Are you still wanting to keep tabs on who has ordered through the group buy? If so, Mark/Jason are you OK to add me to your list. Thanks for your work in sorting this out/
