    allright, i'll try that then.. i've asked a friend of mine to bid on it since i dont have an ebay account.. if we/i dont get the item i'll try it your way..

    however, earlier in this thread ppl were saying that they had spares lying around.. i just thought that perhaps someone still had one for sale..

      is it important to change this gear? cause ive got one -- just not fitted

      in an old s2 i also found the plastic remains in the sump!!! which caused oil pressure to read funny

        Well.. i want to exchange it 'cuz we ****** it up while removing the distributor.. let's just say that its nessessary <;

        I can't say to be sure.. but in my mind you kinda answered your own question too <; (on why you should exchange the plastic one)

        Btw, we won the auction.. so the s2 should be back on otrack soon ^^

            Btw I took apart one engine yesterday that had the dizzy gear broken some time ago.

            Bad phone cam picture, but you'll get the idea:

              mmm where would u fit this? is it easy? please can someone elaborate..... pics?

              Ill do it if its a quick n easy job .. otherwise its cash dependant on mechanics

              which im short of atm just for a dissy gear
