Wanted: Original Speedo dial face

Thought there might be a few of these becoming available after the plasma set group buy (so dont cut them off!) ! Im looking to replace my speedo face which has the classic peeling problem.

I have posted several times in the plasma thread as I too want a set of faces, but got no replies Actually, I only need a rev counter face, but would buy a whole set if in good condition (obviously second to Paul in this thread).

So come on guys, with so many of you changing to plasma gauges, have a heart and sell us your boring old faces....unless the plasmas can be made in a orange-red colour range (Any ideas Bo?)

P.S. I have removed the needles several times on the spare clocks (standard black Audi coupe ones) that I have with no problems, although on another set the needle will not budge. Are there 2 different methods of needle attachment?

Im sure someone will be removing the needles rather than cutting the dials.
Mine were so ruined that i just cut them anyway.

I suggest you check again in a week or so as that will be when people start fitting them.

Will, not all the needles come off cleanly - some appear to be bonded on. In the plasma thread, someone managed to drag the guts out of the tacho with the needle still attached.

Thats what Ive been wondering actually after mulling it over Ive decided I personally prefer the red but like the plasma idea! Bo's dials certianly look good in that respect - nice job mate. Re the cutting I was just being flippant in case anyone was tempted to use nailclippers as mentioned in the thread! I (we) need your dials!!

i could do with a speedo dial, mines starting to flake a bit. will be at cc on sat if any are going.
