Turbo and Manifold swap
Front shox and Top mounts (Shox tops were destroyed and stripped)
Metal work around top mounts (as it was all destroyed )
Diff Mount (As it had all gone all together )

Well, got the car back tonight and all is well. Drives spot on

Just a quick question: Whats the oil pressure's normal settings?

Mine use to be 5 bar cold, 2 bar hot on tick over and 5 bar hot on a run.

It now seems to be 5 bar cold, 1.5 bar on tick over and 4 bar hot on a run.

Whats going on? I know he topped it up with 10/40 Synta, but that wouldn't do much really, would it

Thats what i got with 10W40, with 10W50 and 10W60 it was 2 bar.

But as oilman says pressure isn't everything, the more viscous the liquid the less pressure will be seen

Different oils with different viscosities would make a difference to the oil pressure generated in the engine for sure.....

Iirc My car runs at 5 bar cold...2 bar on tickover and 3-4 bar on say a hot decent speed run (and the engine is great...and doesnt put any smoke out!) , so I wouldnt worry about the the fact your reading is slightly lower than it was...

Phew, thats cool. Was a bit tappy like the oil was a little thin when I stopped. Might stick some 10/50 back it.
