The bulb can be replaced, it's a delicate solder job, otherwise a new one is about £50 ish

If anyone needs any outside temperature gauges they're pretty common here in the US...as all manual transmission B4s had them (and all C4s). I have 3 spares if anyone is in need.Present Audi:
