Anything 4x4 cheap?

My brothers original 4x4 susuki vitara 1.6 has just failed it's mot and has been quoted £500 to fix. IF they can find the parts.

personally, I don't think it's worth it.

so, anybody got something 4wd for £500-1k ish?

or can think of a good vehicle to buy?

ideally at least as good on fuel as the vitara, if not better.

also, anybody interested in buying a vitara for an off road project? Maybe?

Only just seen this. He got his vitara repaired in the end.
