6 speed prop whole or front section

Hi, I'm after the front section of an ABY prop to complete my parts list for a 5-speed to 6-speed conversion. Anyone have one for sale?

Any other cross ref to the same size.? Could see if that place in Bristol will make one up...AJ something from memory or I used propshaft services in Feltham to balance mine last week and they modify or make bespoke ones too.

I guess I could have mine shortened. Balancing after would probably make it quite expensive.

Cost me £100 to shorten and balance mine when I did my gearbox swap

I have a 6spd prop Steve, the CVs are shot. I’ll do a straight swap for your 5spd one if you like as I was going to shorten it anyway.

Thanks Alex. I will check to see what it costs me locally and come back to you. CV joints are good on mine and I've just replaced the centre support bearing.

£75+Vat to have it shortened and balanced. A no brainer me thinks.

my propshaft is going to H J Chard in Brizzel today, They are going to shorten it and rebalance for me.

Ask them to make a note of how much they shorten it. Mines about to come off and go to them too.

I told them 28mm, will see if it fits when I get the box mounted
