    Brake upgrade kit wanted

I need a kit for front S2 brake upgrade that will fit under 16" rims.

What I had in mind is something like 314mm A8 discs, 996 front calipers, SEAT brackets with RS2 hardlines.

    Can anyone source this?

I believe this is cheaper without compromising anything although I am not against them.

I am simply looking to buy the whole kit that will serve it's purpose.

Corey has already been mentioned, so you could send a pm to Bry.
He sells kits to the specification you have put in your first post.
As for RS2 brackets, one reason not to use them is their cost against the Seat versions. Very expensive for what they are.
Also, although RS2 hardlines are good, they don't allow you to remove the caliper with ease, you have to take the hardline off to move the caliper out of the way if you intend any furture suspension work. Consider using SS braided lines instead.

how often do you need to replace the pads mine have been in for over a year now and they are know where near wore
isnt it a good excuse to replace the brake fluid at the same time

sorry didnt read all the post

Who said anything about changing pads? You don't need to remove the caliper for that.
What I meant was, that if you have to replace disc, remove struts, work on the shocks or springs etc etc or anywork that requires you to move the caliper out of the way, then when using the RS2 hardlines you'll have to open the brake fluid system and then rebleed when done. SS braided mean you "don't" have to do this.
As for taking the chance the change the fluid when doing a brake upgrade, then you'd do exactly the same with SS braided as with RS2 hardlines.

I'M NOT saying RS2 hardlines are bad, but was offering up an easier system for future maintenance.

As long as you can remove the bracket that bolts to the strut which holds and supports the RS2 hardline it gives you enough room to remove the caliper so you can safely remove the disc without having to disconnect the brakeline.

Actually I have to remove the caliper to remove the pads, as I have the self adhesive anti-squeal shims attached to the pads.
I originally had RS2 style hardlines, but changed to flexi hoses when I took the hubs off to do the wheel bearings. I later had to do a CV boot, and I found it much easier with two flexi lines. It is also a benefit when changing between disk sizes.

As stated before Corey or BRY are your best option.

BRY did a kit for me. Bolt on except for a little fettling to fit the 314mm OD, 32mm thk A8 disc

                        996 callipers
                        modified Seat brakets (I think)
                        RS2 hard lines
                        grooved discs
                        Textar pads
                        All bolts etc.

Fits under the 16" Avus alloys and looks great. Have been running the setup for a year, much better than standard and no problems other than a wheel bearing causing the disc to ring. New wheel bearing and no more issues since.

If the pads have the self adhesive plates on the rear then the quick change facility of the Porsche callipers goes out the window. Just changed mine and forgot this fact... a lot of and before ...

Vlada: The best you can get is AP racing kit , try to source this one , there were liek 2 for sale lately here , dunno if they were sold

They are the best , I have Alcon kit , but it's fu..cking rare + it's hard when it's cold.

Also a good one is CLS 55 or SL 55 amg front 8 pot calipers , I once were in a car from RS2_Dutch (the guy from this site) and it was like 2-3 time better than my Alcon setup.
