    WANTED: 7A non-aircon heater hoses

    Guys,

Anyone got a pair of hear hoses they'd be willing to part with for coins?

One of mine is weeping a touch, so going to replace both.

No need to be perfect, pretty certain they are the same as S2 but happy to be corrected.

    Thanks

    Peter.

I think Peters after the ones that go to the bulk head for the heater matrix, I will have these from my S2 but that had air-con when I got it so they maybe of no use, I think one of them is the same but not 100% on that.

I do also have all the good hoses I've removed from a couple of other five pot B3's I've broken, so it's quite likely I could put together a pair of the correct type.

A couple of pic's of the ones your after would help no end.

Yup, the heater hoses is what I'm after

As you say, Kit, one is the same, the one that goes to the head. The other one appears to be different.... I'm nervous to post part numbers as 7zap wasn't very clear on this....

Doh... After posting that, I had a vague recollection of taking a snap of the pinholed hose, it has the part number on it

Not sure on the other one, but that's the same for just about I5 applications

I've had to go and help out at work for the past couple of days which has been great actually, unfortunately that's meant I haven't had a chance to go and dig through my spare hoses box as of yet... But at least I know roughly where that is and I'm planning on working on my Audi 100 tomorrow as I what to get it driving again and from over the pit. Will have a good look when I get down there in the morning.

Initial searches have resulted in these candidates and I know I have more, the amount of spares parts I have is ridiculous. Am considering getting all the best stuff on shelves and having an B3/4 parts jumble sale for Forum members.

Anyway I'm going to check these for part numbers...

Been struggling a bit today, I can't move my head without rotating my whole upper body after fighting stuff under cars for two days.

Cheers Peter, save's having to clean them all to check part No's.

I did have a suspicion those would be the correct ones, especially the short one with the bleed screw, I'll give them a wash in the sink this morning and check their condition but I wouldn't have kept them if they were leaking or perished, however they've been in storage for at least ten years.

Feeling considerably more able bodied this morning.
