RS2 Rear Reflector,

I'm not very happy, I was just taking the polish off the back end of my RS2 and while doing the rear reflector it cracked, I was hardly pressing at all, I guess that plastic is very brittle now after 27 odd years.

I did have a hairline crack anyway and I can repair the current damage once I calm down but really it's going to need replacing.

So I'm after a crack free one, can they be obtained new or reproduced anywhere? Or does anyone have one they want to sell or swap for other parts?

I'm going to do some digging on the internet to see if I can find one for reasonable money but I'm not holding my breath.

They are about 200 last time I got one, for some reason I ended up with a few of the handle reflectors with mine.

That's not too bad for a new one really given that it's quite a specialist part. One has to hope it's been stored out of UV light, then perhaps it won't break by simply cleaning it.

Another member has actually offered to help get me one as he has a contact in Germany which makes getting stuff from Tradition much less of a pain in the backside.

Their pricing is all over the place. I would have expected that to be three times what they are asking based on the 100 they want for a single rear indicator!

Yeah I was expecting it to be much worse, still not thrilled about having to by a new one but that's the way working on these cars goes.

This is now sorted thanks to help from another very helpful member who I'm not going to name as I doubt he's want's to be dealing with everyone's orders from Audi Tradition.
