Wanted rear diff for A4 B5 2.8 quattro - DAJ

A long shot but I'm looking for a DAJ rear differential which was fitted to a A4 B5 2.8 quattro.

Does anyone have one knocking about?

Try flatout90 as his friend is breaking a 1.8t quattro. Might be the same diff?

Thanks Dave I'll check I think the DAJ was only fitted to the 2.8 but may be wrong.

I have a 2.8 V6 C4 rear diff that's the right ratio, totally different casing's but some of the guts might be interchangeable.

The guy I work with also has a couple of B5 quattro breakers, he might have one that's the same.

Edit, scratch that I'm not sure what ratio your B5 diff is, do you know if it's 4.11?

Audi used a few different final drive ratio's.

It's a 35/9 I'm after so 3.89. Not too keen on swapping internals over but if you could see if your mate has one that would be great thanks Kit.

Swapping internals would be a last resort option for me as well mate, I'll call by Jim's tomorrow when I go and see my folks for Sunday dinner and see what he's got B5 quattro wise breaking at the moment. I walk past his yard on the way so no bother.

If your lucky I might be able to sort one for you to collect next week along with your motor, he's got three B5 quattro breakers, I know one's a 1.8T another is a Diesel, the third I can't recall

I have an a4 quattro b5 2.8 for spares . Its a 2000 model w reg. I will have a look at the sticker in the boot for the diff code
