I think there may be variants depending if you have AC or not but I may be wrong. I also think this may or may not be what you need

Our small chassis crank locking tool is similar to the factory 2084 locking tool but has been revised to allow use with the ABY/ADU front damper pulley which the 2084 tool did not. Suitable for use with the ABY, ADU, 3B, RR, WR, MC and 7A engines, as well as any which utilise the factory 2084 locking tool. Please note this tool is NOT suitable for use with the AAN 5 cylinder engine.See our AAN crank locking tool for your AAN engine.TIG welded and zinc plated with gold passivate for corrosion protection.

Thanks for that. I’ve read a lot of threads on here and initially there’s some confusion about what is actually the correct tool i.e. the 3256.

I’ve got a spare 2084 so can consider modifying that one. However, I like the idea of the one from Ultraperformance as it covers all variants including the ADU hi which I have in my shortened WR.

I made my own crank locking tool some years ago, it works properly and better than the OE tools on all S2's and RS2's as well as 7A and NG engines etc. It can also be used on AAN's as well as the five pot desiels with a bit of ingenuity. Am happy to lend it for the cost of postage or I can make more if people want them. Made entirely from 1/4" steel with an extra long pully lock that's a very tight fit, somewhat over engineered but indestructible. They'd be around £100 including postage.

          Bought this from Ultraperformance.

The tool on the top is a spare 2084 that I use on my RR.
