Urgent Requirement for Parts!!!....

The S2 is in a friends uncles workshop in bits - thermostat was shot, which has now been replaced.

He has been sent variopus parts but they are wrong. Ive spoken to VAG parts and the earl;iest they can get parts to us is monday 19th. The car must be put back together and moved but i want to replace:-

cam belt and tensioner
water pump

My fear is i pay for 6 hours labour and dont have the benefit of thses parts being replaced.

does anybody have these new parts hanging around for an s2 copue aby?

If worse comes to worse just contact your local Audi Dealer. -
They will charge a bit more but at least you will get the part next day if not same day.

Water pump is an exchange part though iirc.

You dont need the complete tensioner only the tensioner wheel. Search the forum for the part number.

Yep. exchange menas you take them the old part in with you and get a hefty discount off the new one.

GSF = german swedish french - http://www.gsfcarparts.com/

If GSF cant supply it then ECP can!! good luck and ring pre 2pm for the next day normally

( shame he cant drive over bumps very quickly without damaging his car )
