Decent B4 quattro RHD power steering rack (non leaking)

    Anyone got one?
Mine is v6 avant quattro and rack part number is 8A2 422 065 F. ETKA says replacement would be 896 422 065B.
However I believe S2 rack bolts on, and is an upgrade at 2.6 turns compared to v6 3.2 turns.

Have you considered getting your existing power steering rack refurbished?

I had the original power steering rack in my Audi RS2 refurbished by Western Power Steering and it came back like new. No affiliation to them, etc.

The majority of hydraulic steering rack faults can be traced to three main causes: seal wear causing leaks, internal wear leading to noise or play, water

Yes, thats good to hear. I've bought a cheap (leaky) rack with the same intention and that firm came up in my searches. Good to have a recommendation, so thanks for that

I can confirm that Western Power Steering have also given me impeccable service on two projects, including a 95 S2 Avant.
