You can change the style the forum displays by selecting your preferred style at the bottom left of the site.
We have made an enhancement so that old threads should now link from search results to the correct thread. This is not yet in place for single post links
Hey Al, glad the MAF hose seems to have cured the problem. Wasn't holding my breath after my experiences with fault finding on the old beasties! Good spot mate!
PM S2central.net (Paul) about the hose, having looked at the standard one again last night, the Samco replacement is a lot less restrictive!
Only warnings about the Samco ones is that they rub on the headlight cover and can get damaged and that getting the small jubilee clips onto the WGFV nipple can be a pain, use two clips as I described last night. Get some sacraficial rubber on to the new hose to shield it against the area of rubbing.
Good luck, hope it's not mega-bucks for the Samco one as the Audi ones are a bit rubbish!
