I might be able to help you out, if you have a 3B or early ABY, as I have a rad that S2_Bo sold me (I think it was only £20...can you remember Bo?) trouble is, it did not fit my late ABY plumbing If Bo doesn't want it back, then it is yours at cost (when Bo can remember what it cost me )

I then spent ages trying to track down new rads, but every one sent by every Steeler had a different thread size on one end of the top pipe with the switches on, or had the wrong threads for the pressure switches themselves.....even P.Diddy couldn't help, which shows you how bad the situation is.

Eventually solved it when my mate (who owns a chain or garages and had already been through this with another forum member so was not holding out much hope) suddenly had a brainwave and had my rad re-cored.... Pure ****** genius

And just to make you sick, they tested the output temperature at 3.9 degrees C ....it was sooooo cold today in the heat, that I had to turn the aircon down

    Cheers n

mine is a late ABY so no good i suppose

when mine was working it was so cold i could see my breath lol when it works it is very good

I will have 2 see if someone can repair it it is only a little hole on the top bend so maybe a good welder could put a plate on it? (is the main of it steel or ali)
