I have recently noticed that water is getting into my reat lamp bulb holder. No surprise since someone in the past has had the passenger indicator / tail lamp off and refitted it minus water proofing gasket.
I spoke to Audi parts dept and they told me that there is no gasket as such for the avant so i will have to buy a 10 metre roll of this stuff for £24 ish
Given that i probably only need about a foot of this i was wondering whether anyone has any similar problem and details of how they solved it.
I did think of buying a new light but that comes without the seal anyway so that does not help me
