Headlamps needed!

Hi all,

I'm looking to get hold of a pair of good condition headlamps for my s2..... mine are knackered (cracked lens, reflectors no longer reflective!).

Does anyone have any up for sale or know where i can get my hands on a pair at good price?

Don't know your location as your details are blank, your avatar looks too sunny to be the UK

Audi will relieve you of plenty of money for new ones
VAGparts will be cheaper
GSF and otherse sell new headlamps at a price
Breakers 4ring spares, etc. will have lamps at varying prices

Thanks for the ideas on where to get headlamps.

Do you know if coupe v6 headlamps are the same as the s2? I would think they are. (my s2 is a 1991)

There are 3 sorts of head lamps fitted to UK coupes.

first type which I have Type 85? h4 dip/main and H1 inner main. poor
second type B4? different bonnet h1 dip / h1main better
third type 94? on elipsoidal headlamps which have a glass ball in them these are the best. by far. I don't know how the wiring differs if at all.

Then you start on HID lamps
see vagparts.com for their HID kits which are widely used on this forum
