    European Piston Supplier!

    Hi!

Can any of our European members recommend somewhere to source OE replacement pistons from within the EU? I haven't had much luck with vendors on eBay.de! If you could obtain a price too, that would be useful.
Nothing exotic, I am just looking for a good quality manufacturer, Mahle or KS, 0.50mm oversize set of pistons/rings for the Audi AAT/AEL 2.5TDi diesel five cylinder engine.
Ability to accept credit cards/PP an advantage as Bank transfers are nearly as expensive as a piston!

    Thanks!

    For custom stuff:

I think I may buy a set from them. Just to be different
They have a reseller in Finland but no idea where else.

Can't you find local reseller for Mahle there?
    Mahle P/N for 0.5 oversize is 034 92 02 (0,25mm = ...01)

You should go custom if building a stroker. You need larger dish volume to keep the C/R down.

Thanks for the info! But I actually want standard diesel repacement pistons.
Too be honest it looks as though it would be cheaper to get custom ones made.
As usual prices in the UK range from expensive to very expensive
Was just trying to get a comparsion.

Eh? What rods are you planning to run as the diesel has a 26mm wrist pin!!!!!!!!

Eh.. the standard diesel rods This is not for a stroker, I want to save the planet by claiming to use an oil burner:mischeif:

So I am looking for an alternative source (i.e. cheaper) of TDI DIESEL oversize pistons.

Uh you said so the first place but I refused to understand

I have numbers here, but there are quite a few options to list.
First of all there are 2 different compression heights available. Probably to compensate skimming.
            034 90 02 for std 45,75 CH and for cyl 1&2
            034 91 02 ^ cyl 3-5

            034 90 12 for 45,5 CH cyl 1&2
            034 91 12 ^ 3-5

All mentioned are 0.5 oversize and for AAT/AEL engine.

The different compression heights are to take account of the increase in bore size so that the comp ratio doesen't go above 19.5:1! Aren't petrol turbo engines puny!
All I need now is somewhere to purchase them without selling any body organs!
