Wanted - (possibly modified) estate up to £12k

Well looks like the Evo is sold Will prob shed a tear when it goes, most fun i've ever had in a car, plus owes me a damned fortune!!!

Anyway onwards and upwards, decided on a £12k (ish) budget at max, and def need an estate car as sometimes I have to nip to the cash and carry, plus need the boot space for the 2 large hounds!

So, anyone know of anything up for sale, or that might be for sale?

Doesnt have to use up all the £12k budget, but upper end will poss get me something newer, and more improtantly quicker I suppose!

This is the one to have, it used to be Jase he live on the island to. A very nice car inside and out, even been tuned alittle to, And a RS2 front end

I know it is £12,995 but there is a green RS2 on autotrader website with 99,000 miles on the clock.

Now I know im going to get shot down (to be expected as I am on an S2 forum!!!) but kind of find the S2 and RS2 dated in appearance. I know there's a mixture of ars owned on here so was thinking possibly more along the lines of an S4 Avant, who knows!

How very very dare you the S2 + RS2 are classics if you want something more modern i know of a nice RS4 going for £16k (pm me) thats the next best thing imho to an RS2 although id rather have an RS2 any day of the week

At this rate, I'll have a fairly hefty and nearly-completed RS2 spec Avant up for sale. Please don't even tempt me with offers, it's done my head in recently... anyway to not start a rant lol.

i'd keep your eye open and go with a very nice RS2, and get it remapped if not done already. Check out pistonheads, haven't looked recently, and keep a keen eye out for forum cars! But, the Avant idea is always good, get a nice one and it leaves alot for mods...

Well the Evo went on Sat so money is now sitting in my account waiting to be spent on the right car. Anyone know of anything?

Have had an offer or two from here (thanks guys), not a fan of red cars in general, and totally loving Nogaro blue (im not fussy am I!)

Colours on there arent blowing me away to be honest, found 2 nogaro blue ones on pistonheads, but up in Manchester, long way to go just for a look.

Plus most of those on the trader are from the trade, always find the best cars are those owned by enthusiast as they actually give a monkeys and fix all the little things that need doing.

Of course im still holding out on the possibility of someone having already modded the brakes, wheels etc for me!! Not that I want much at all!

Whats the address od MRC? Also rough costs of a simple remap? Although i'd prob have a filter and exhaust job at the same time if I hadnt already replaced them.
