S2 / CQ rear caliper carrier mounting bolt

I've managed to lose one whilst rebuilding my rear brakes

Anyone got one?

Or can i use any steel bolt of this size / thread?

i'll definately have one kicking about, which do you mean, a cap headed one?

PM me your details and I'll chuck it in the post or to buy a new one its this one I think:

allen key head bolt
M10X1,25X20 /

to reuse you need some locking compound on it...

I would not recommend the incorrect bolt on Brakes. Phone somewhere like All audi or better still see if you can get one at the stealers, it can't be that expensive, can it?

i would imagine its one of the few items to give you change from a £1 at a dealer

Yeah its one of the bolts that mounts the carrier to the hub/knuckle. 17mm head i think... was unsure about using any old steel bolt as teh brakes are a fairly important safety item
