After Pirtec cocked mine up has anyone got one? Am sure its the same on a ABY.
Goes from the hydraulic pump to the steering rack, has a coil of steel pipe as bolts to the rack.
Cheers,

I have rebuildit mine and is working supper. In the middle is an reduction pece, dont forget to fit that back in. You have to have some shops were you can go with the old hd hose and refit new one on old connection pieces, no?
Hope this helps!
Eugen
they put back the restricor back in (plasic thin pipe) but could have not got it to seat.
The result is moaning every time you steer, and low effort or parking amount of lock.
They say the ends won't take another crimp,"get a new hose" they said, thanks they cost a sodding fortune!cry

hmm, my pump is now a bit whiney after getting all the pipes remade by pirtek. It could be the system needs a proper bleed but after reading you problem above i wonder if they had the same issue seating that restrictor....
Thats just what I thought at first, sounds like some air in there, but no. With an un ******ed about by pirtec hose the whine goes instantly and the steering feels much nicer.

i wonder whether its too restrictive then causing the oil to foam or something. Steering feels fine to be honest and it only moved 40 miles before the rear diff seal put it back on axle stands so i can't be sure yet, after 600+ miles this coming weekend i'll know one way or the other!
