    Auxiliary Electric Coolant Pump

    Hi,

Am after what im told is the auxiliary electric coolant pump.

The one thats in at the moment is leaking coolant, which is a PITA!

I had another one that was supplied off a VW transporter, identical apart from the power input!

    Anyone got a spare one!?

    Cheers!

Sounds like a plan... take the one off my current pump and re-attach it to the new one?

apparently it doesn't cut in until 110 degrees.(don't know how true this is)but i can't see this as the stat opens before this and the fan cuts in before this(mine at about 90).and i can't inagine the engine temp rises 20 after you switch of.mine just snapped off the other night-while i was checking to see how brittle it was-,so i just joined the pipes together.besides,i always take it real easy before i go home anyway.

It *should* cut in after a hot run alright. Are you sure your pump worked ?

Good indicator that its alive is that you hear it hum for a few secs when the key is turned on - often mistook for the fuel pump priming - but no !
