    Audi 80 Quattro 2.8 V6 Saloon (B4)

Looking for a clean example of the above.

I know this is S2 forum, but lots of us have two or more cars

Bodywork/chassis is most important; must be original (i.e. no resprays, accident damage, etc.) and in good condition, no or *very* few blemishes. Body will be professionally assessed before buying (paid for by myself) as a pre-condition of any sale.

Mechanically should be good for age. Low-mileage and good, detailed, maintenance history considered plus points.

Interior; sports seats are desirable, as is leather. Centre console gauges and other nice things like on-board computer and air-con considered plus-points.

Anyone with the above car for sale, please PM me. Sensible prices paid for good examples. No time wasters please, I'm only interested in genuine straight cars as this one is to keep.

    Cheers,
    James

Cheers but the dent in the door along with the standard seats doesn't really do it for James. Good effort though

Also there seems to be quite a few CQ2.8s for sale!

          Oh...

James, can i have your cast offs, please.

Just need to confirm the interiors fitted to 2.6 and 2.8, me thinks they differ?

          Tvm.
          Carlos.

On the look out for less bits for my s2 saloon project. Now supporting myself by shooting for my food. www.airgunforum.co.uk

Lovely car I agree, but it's a coupe and I'm looking for a saloon

            Cheers,

It's also relisted and the guy looks like a trader posing as private which makes me a little suspicious!

I'm after a saloon for my daily drive - will have the S2 when repaired for my fun car! Iain's CQ2.8 was immaculate and a good price if I'd wanted a coupe...

I may even have a look at a URS6/URS4, or possibly a nice A4Q 2.8 - I've noticed they seem to come with much higher spec in general as standard (e.g. lots with leather, etc.)...

              Cheers, guys,

                Which cast offs?

Never noticed a difference between interiors on the 2.6/2.8 but I stand to be corrected if anyone knows any...

                  Well...

Just in case you find one that doesn't quite meet your exacting standards? Silver or black preferred.

Think this one discussed the interior differences, breifly. If it your intention is to make the saloon into an S2 type.

                  Carlos.

Ah, I see Carlos! Well my silver 80Q will be my first castoff, so I'll gladly give you a heads-up when I'm ready to sell her

I should clarify that this 80Q will be for my daily drive, so I'm not using it for an S2 conversion (although I may well do a 5-stud conversion so I can do a Porsche front brake upgrade and use ABY wheels). Only other thing I would consider is an S2 front bumper :mischeif:

Apparently, URS6 is a biiiiiiiig heavy car so I'm knocking that idea on the head. A4s are plagued by front suspension issues, and I hate the rear of the car, so it's 80Q or bust!

                    Cheers,
                    James

                      The hunt is on!
