colour? its the one that the outer part (handle) has the reflector part on it ....is this the same thing we're talking about?

Yes, as in red (Reflector on RS2) or normal black I meant.

Its the actual mechanism I need, as when you pull the handle nothing happens, due to part of the hidden bit being broken

Lol are they? I had two side by side at a certain s2 owner's house so he could choose which one he wanted, plus I should have another one coming if all goes well.
