cat and front struts needed for mot

evening all, the new avant faied the mot today

Most things like bushes i can do no problem......
I have owned it for 2 weeks and it has a new (previos owner) 3" stainless turbo back minus the cat.
Also its on coilover springs and both dampers are feked.....I believe they are KW springs and I know they have adjustable koni shocks.....Anybody have any spare struts or a cat that will go on a 3" system?

why did it fail on the cat mine has gone through on gutted cats for the last 2yrs

they didnt even bother testing emissions, i think as its on foreign plates still they werent going to take any chances......no cat = no pass....

Can you tell my tester that then? He says no CAT, no MOT!
I'm sure the MOT regs are on the net somewhere, maybe worth having a look at DOT website and finding out for sure, I'll have a look later.....
