is ur gauge steady when boosting?. I used to have 1 on the cossie and it vibrated like mad when making boost.
good idea to go for more than 1.5 so i will just do that.
I think i will go for Newsh or Dougs gauges as i like the style.
Doug that was the right link for the site. where did u get that cowling looks very smart.
cheers

I used a universal gauge mount, chopped it and a cowling, bonded them together, filled , primed and painted - there is a thread somewhere else on it.S2,RS2,S4 WB,RS4,S4 B8,RS6 C5,RS6 C6,R8Comment

T'ing into the pipe near the ECU is best I reckon... no plumbling thru the bulkhead...

There's this chap on ebay flogging off boost gauges (and other things)

No affiliation to him, was thinking of buying one myself.
If you don't want to make a custom mount, you could, for example, remove the Voltmeter and replace that with the boost gauge? It won't be as visable down there, but at least it keeps the inside of the car looking standard?Ex S2 owner, now running around in an A4 Avant quattro...

To be honest with ya Paul i aint sure i think so but i dont like to watch it too much when in welly mode, aint much space ere in london
Im off out in a mo so i will have butch, and the T from the ECU i would imagine to be by far the easiest, infact its probably the easiast job/mod on the whole car

Last night me and my mates went out to see some sort of illegal gathering of cars (shame on me it was very max power
) But i had a look at a lads Punto (which he must fix every day because....) It had 280hp and it does 157mph. This punto spins in 3rd as seen last night. Before we went there we went for a 30 mile blip me in the S2 my mate in his jabba sport corrado, a mate in his Almera gti (which i must say for a piece of non aspirated jap crap goes like F*ck) and another lad in his beetle 2.0 16v. We made a video which i cant show for number plate sensitivity reasons (all on private roads of course
). The corrado and i are side by side and only i gain with having longer gears and a higher rev range although once in 4th i riced him LOL. Sorry lost track of the thread a bit there, the lad in the punto had the revotec 3 pods up the pillar, one for boost, one for oil pressure and one for EGT----Nice

I am very keen to get that kind of set up as i think they look good on the pillar.
Tut tut Graham doing that kind of thing even on u r private road
Pity about the no plate sounds like it would be worht a look
