you could have your own unit rebuilt,theres a place near me(not much use to you) but they do it for £40.

changed the regulator and no change to problem which is that it is not showing as charging below 2500rpm

Got one from a b4 80 2.6 v6, haven't got a clue on compatability though.

i think they were on the 90 quattros and some other 100/200s and 5pots so dont think that it will fit, thanks for the thought though
