    Polo gearbox...

Now really pizzy, just spent 2 hours changing the belts and tensioners on the gf's car and fecking gb has done a bunk. Second time in 2 years, first time it got a rebuild. Now cant be fecked to spend the money on some ejit who cant make a gb last more than 2 years.

Anyone recommend where i can get a manual gb for an R reg 1.6 Polo, engine code AEE, 75 bhp.

Or should i just burn this piece of VW fecking shat!!!

P.S off to buy a Honda!

My brother has an AEE polo sat in my mothers front garden with a wrecked front end. Im sure he'll be happy to sell the box out of it as she is giving him grief about getting rid of it. PM me if your interested (it's in Leicestershire) and I'll confirm the details with him.

Usually thats the problem, i rebuilt one last year with the usual faulty diff the bolts to fix it only cost about £35 and the welding of the diff housing, which was free of charge because it was a favour.

Started dropping out of reverse, then stated to whine and now sounds like it has 'crunchy nuts' rattling around the inside!

@s2avant, being new on these 'Plopo', where can i find the gb code so i can give you some more info?

          Thanks guys.
