    I've got 10mm spacers on my Avus 18's and yep, you'll need longer bolts. Spacers were £40.00 the set from MRC but no doubt you can get them cheaper.

    On that note, thats just reminded me, i MUST get some lockers for them before they go walkies too..

      I've just called MRC but they don't sell spacers.

      Plus £40 for a set is exceptionally cheap. You'd be pushed to find a pair for £40 (£38 + p&p on ebay).

        Strange, i've even got the invoice in front of me from when i got them last month. Unless they were Dougs own ones but they look brand new.

        Ohh, and its £40.00 + VAT but thats only a few quid more.

          £40 + VAT for four is a cracking price if they're hubcentric spacers.

              Won't 60mm put loads of extra strain on the hub?

              @brm180

              I found it difficult to get decent locking bolts. The McGard standard part no. was 28018 at a length of 26.7mm. With the 10mm spacers I needed part no. 28020 and I couldn't find anyone that sold them. I ended up getting my pal who worked at a motor factors in Brum to order them for me direct from McGard in Germany. They advised that the new part no. was 28020SU. Not sure if that's still correct though, as this was over two years ago. I paid 30-40 quid I think.

                I paid 22,10EUR for the locking bolts, whatever that was in pounds back then. Just a little off with my £30-40 guestimate .

                  60mm per axle so 30mm per wheel should not be a problem
                  a wider ET for the wheels gives also more load on the hubs .
