Do you run with the aux radiator? If not, fit a 2.3 10v main radiator (that GSF will probably still sell), as they don't have the pipework for an aux radiator in the first place. I use a 2.3 10v main radiator so I don't have to bung and tie up that top hose.

Thanks to ppl that relpied, got one sorted and put it on yesterday.

Took no time and was such a pleasure to do, the aircon just slid out the way and i was not still doing it in the dark and wondering where the ferk all the bolts i had left went

Ok thats all lies, took ages but i was doing the ps pump and belts too. The car was still in bits all over the place 3 hours in and i was thinkin there must be an easier way to do this

All fluids topped up now and knuckles heeling nicely, think i would defo get someone else to do it if i had the dough but there is also the worry that as its such a pita to do would they cut corners Nearly took a pic on my phone at the most exploded point but was in too much of a hurry to beat the sunset

I've removed the AC and all the plastic and the rad falls out in about 10 minutes now! Glad you got it sorted, nothing worse than an S2 that runs hot, winking starfish time...

Didn't run hot but it had sprung a leak on the top the other day, thought i would change it to avoid more damage a bit sharpish

Did think i might ditch the aircon but it is handy in the summer sat in traffic and the plastics might as well go back on, keeps that factory look

What else can be ditched? i take it yours has been on a diet, carbon canister? Was thinking i might ditch stuff that doesn't need to be there but keepin the ac as it can get quite sticky down here in the summer
