Power Steering Reservoir.

Hi - anyone got a spare Power steering reservoir for sale - or lost a the back of the garage - do not ask - seems to have cracked during thermostat change - moving it to access radiator

Off to stealers tomorrow - to see if Inglewhatsit has one on the expensive shelf in Germany.

Hi - stripped resevoir out of car - seems intacked ????????? - will cut back all connections and reclip with new clips and see what happens - bloody pain this - I assume the system is under pressure and any weakness will be found.

I will contact you with the results - if you hear a bang - I ve shot myself.

Might be a good idea now he has your postcode to remove it from the original thread just incase.

The 2 pipes that go to the reservoir are not under any real pressure, just the return from the steering rack and brake servo at the rear, and the supply to the pump at the front. There should just be flexible hoses with Jubilee style clips on them.
Give the reservoir and hoses a good clean, then run the system and check for leaks.

M and early N chassis 3Bs have a different reservoir anyway Bo.
