    Wanted: RS2 Gearbox

As the title says, I have a standard S2 ABY gearbox with a very noisy first gear so whilst the box will have to come out, it is the time for an upgrade upgrade. I would consider a late S2 box but prefer the idea of an RS2.

Someone must have one for me....just gathering dust, looking for a new home

    Cheers n

Hence saying I would consider a late S2 box, but didn't the RS2 have the flexi shaft AND the wide first gear?

As for Sal, nope, I have begged him for an RS2 box and RS2 downpipes every time I have seen him for the last 6 months, but the slippery little ****** keeps saying no

I obviously need to spend more time in Birmingham until I can find something to blackmail him with

Correction, the RS2 has a flexible shaft and wide 1st gear in it and the box was called CRB

The late ABY is called CGR with wide 1st gear but no flexible shaft.

ABY with CGR from 77644 onward also had a flexible shaft. First gear p/n: 01E 311 105 H, same as CRB.

Can the S4 box take the procon 10 pivot plate?

Where mate? That website shows the wide 1st gear but no reference to flexible shaft?

I'll have to dig out the reference from the forum
