    Wanted: 5 - 7mm wheel spacers

    Hello,

Im after some wheel spacers for my alloys as they are ET42 and not ET35 as required.

Ideally id like to use Hubcentric ones but they dont come thiner than 10mm.

Does any one have any PCD112 5 stud 5mm - 7mm spacers they are willing to sell?

I dont really like the look of the Universal stuff on ebay and the ones on this site: http://www.performancefx.net/wsaudi.htm are universal too unless you go to 15mm or over.

    Cheers.
    Bo

You're unlikely to get hubcentric ones as the hubs stick out too far. Spacers of this size will cost about £25 the pair for good ones. Don't forget that you'll need to get the correct bolts and lockers too, going to be about £100 for the whole lot.

Found some here but it's in the US. Eibach ones are $50 for 5mm, $59 for 8mm.

        Just seen those...

Have contacted my machinist to see what can be done. I quite fancy a set for the rear of mine.

These ones look quite good. They have the right size center too.

Just bought 2 pairs so no longer need any others

Perfect. You might want to go wider than 5mm though if you're running wider than 225 tyres?

Na im sticking to 225's for the time being and with the spacers the ET will be 37, that should be close enough.
Ill let you know what the quality is like, also - They are on offer on ebay atm, there normal price is: 5mm #10205 (£38.78) ebay price is: £23

Heres a money saving idea.... Get a machine shop to part off the centre of the bell from old brake discs instead of throwing them away, and then clean up the edge. You get a consistent thickness, exactly the right diameter, bore and PCD, plus the benefit of a countersunk hole enabling you to bolt them in position through your current brake discs using a longer machine screw. Prime the edges and they won't look like spacers through your wheels either. Only downside is that they will be steel/cast iron rather than ally so a little more unsprung weight.

                  Just an idea.

That's what i'm doing with my old discs for Merlin's S4. He only wants a few mm thickness though which is proving to be a pain!

                        ...

i could do with summat like this for the front of the avant, the back rims are deeep dish and the fronts are too much inside the wheel arch as they are narrower.

my rh wheels are a PITA to fit tho
