URS4 passengers side headlight with fog light built in

I am looking for a working Passengers side headlight for a URS4. Its from a 1992 model with the built in foglight.

unfortunately passenger and drivers side headlamps are knackered, the part that is damaged can easily be replaced though, want 50 euro for it

That is the same that has happened to my headlight. Can i buy the damaged part on its own from somewhere?

could try vagparts as you can buy individual sections of the headlights, i know someone who bought the casing for a rs2 ellipsoid this week.

I have a A6 headlight i bought to replace but it is slightly different. But the internal part might be the same will have a look.

I don't think you can bye individual sections of the headlights. You can put A6 light in if you change the glass from your old lights and drill an extra hole in back of the plastic part for the electric connector. A6 C4 has only one connector in the back and Urs4 has two.

This is what happens to the lights, i just washed it with water and all of the reflecting material went to the drain :

K7ERG, if you allready bought the A6 light, i think the internal part is plug and play. Just look that it isn't burn and cracked. And measure the distance from the old light first where the close light is connected to the frame.

at least for the type 85 cars you can order the parts for the headlamps separately from the dealer

Not listed in etka for urs4.

Yeah but the rs2 ellipsoids arn't listed in etka as seperate parts for the main part, this is why you have to contact vagparts which is what my mate did.

Changed the damaged part with a spare A6 headlight i had. easy!!!!!

Is the A6 internals uprated to last longer?

At least the A6 part has a hole in top of the bulb to release some of the heat off. Some Urs4 lights has them too and some don't.
