Not got them yet but it was what I though a good set of secondhand springs should cost

Mine were special order through dcdezign and cost £290 delivered.
Got the correct HA VA setup. Just proves it it still possible to get. Ordered 2 weeks ago. Arrived yesterday. Chuffed.
They are really well made. Fit the strut legs and hats much better than my Koni Kit springs.

Yeah, the way to go now is a pair of VA Avant springs. Should save a lot over the coupe setup and gets rid of the very variable rate rears. Have to see how I get on with the VA/HA, going to fit blues up front and greens at the rear to try and get a slightly more aggressive stance (blues sit lower, right ). Looking forward to this with teh ARBs, not sure I'll need the 26/26 setup now, better stick with 26/25 until I'm happy with it or get another 24mm bar if it's a bit much... :mischeif: . At least if it is too much I'll not have the body-bitch-slap effect where the body catches the slide up about 0.5s after it occurs and gives you another angle of attack to deal with

Not yet. I'll tell you when I get then but you will cry As I said, they're a good price for some good springs IMO.

You got VA/HA's DOH! I think i will cry.
I assume your talking about top mounts??
Im doing the same, Blues up front and sticking with the greens at the back.
Im not sure about it altering the ride height but. I know the blues are a little stiffer and with the rear being a fair bit lighter then im sure green on the rear will suffice.

They're about as stiff as each other from what I gather. Would like Promounts but they cost the same as te springs and solid mounts are too compromised for road use really. Mount savers up front are a good plan but I'll need to source some.

Unsuprising as the rears are smaller and simillar to the B5... of which they produced a lot more. Economies of scale and all that. Hence why the RS2 springs are twice the price.

whats the big deal with variable rate rears on the coupe? I've had mine on for years without issue and they seem to handle road/track/Ring without any problems at all. Is this another chinese whisper theory or is there a real deal problem that should be tackled and a proper seat of the pants improvement in changing to the avant front and rear setup?
