Halfords do a blue plastic elbow for about £1. It works fine.

Thanks for the suggestions, I used a spare 1/2" socket as a hose joiner in the end, rotating the hose to the block round a little so as not to need an elbow.
This will get me home, new pump on order, along with a new clutch slave cylinder
            Cheers

Yes, but I was hoping for Uber OEM, but settled for modifying the GSF one...

Get a bosch one then from a bosch dealer, the bosch part number is posted on the forum and it's a directly replacement IIRC

Too late, its all done, I needed it ready for the MOT this morning and the old one as pissing coolant all over the place!

                      Thanks for the part number.

I am going to merge all the threads later and postthe pictures and the write up on modifying the GSF one. (Which looks better quality that the OEM one I had...)

that'd be great as I need a new one too. Fortunately mine only leaks a little so I can just keep toping up for now.

It's ironic, it's the one part I've carried around for 130,000 miles and it's NEVER come on and been useful in it's whole, miserable life

(Yes, the electrics do work, I've checked, just never seem to get the engine hot enough - must try harder!)

I came to the conclusion that I am not sure my old one worked! Once the new one was in the buzzing is quite audible even inside the car when you turn on!
