  • Matrix hose (bleed screw one, non a/c)

Bloody stupid bleed screw has sprung a leak - didn't even touch it!

Am i right these are common among all non-a/c 5 cylinder engines?
Has oneone got one that doesn't leak knocking about after a samco upgrade or anything?

Or is there an easy solution to replace with a plain hose as this is the third time one of these retarded bleed screws has given up on me in the last year without even touching it!
I thought about using a pipe joiner and a section of another return hose but thought it might be too much of a restriction in an already smallish ID hose

Cut that bit of the pipe out put a metal sleeve in with a thread tapped in it and use the the right threaded bolt with a fibre washer or whatever sealing washer you got job done

i'll send you one from my 2.3 10v mate. i'm pretty sure it's in good nick. I thought they were standard across all the coupes actually but I haven't had cause to investigate too closely. PM me your address cos it will be quicker than me searching back for it.
