Why RS2 axles specifically? Are they different to S2 items?

There are bound to be more S2's being broken than RS2's

FYI, RS2 axles and S2 six speed axles are the same parts.

We never got either car in the US so it get difficult at times to determine what we need because we've never seen the actual parts. I know more than anyone this pain.
