Wanted: Ford RS 4/108 18/8inch OZ wheels.

    Hey everyone

I figured I post here.. Maybe some one out there could hook me up with a set of these????

So.. Ford Focus RS 4x108 18/8 inch 0Z rims..

My coupe is originally a 2.3L 20v naturally aspirated version. So it came with 4/108 and I have no intentions of swaping hubs.

    Figured I try.

    Thanks
    Josh

      Hey Josh,

Now I'm curious about those wheels too. How much do they weigh? Do you have to/plan to machine the center hole to Audi's 57.1mm, or get a hubcentric spacer if the Ford hole is bigger? What else can/would you say about them? I "need" some wheels for my 4kstq project, and those are pretty clean. Not that you would want everybody and their brother to have them.

      Thanks,

      Ken

        hi Ken

They a bit on the heavy side but they are oz wheels so they should be strong:
        29 pounds
They have an offset of: 42mm

Which possibly could work, if not some spacers would solve the problem
There are quite a few guys out there that I know that have been using ford focus spec rims on audis, I need to find out about it's hub centric size but I am preity positive its larger.

Like I mentioned before they are 18 inches by 8 inches.

The ford performance website has them listed as offroad only but thats because they never came to the states.

However tomorrow I when I call the place I will tell them it's for autocrossing applications if need be.

Torquesteer.co.uk??? something like that... has them listed for 209 pounds... the conversion equates to $368 american but ford performance website has there suggested retail at $225.00

I'll keep all my fellow 4/108ers posted.

I am going to cross my fingers and hope this works out, and hopefully I will sell my current wheels. Even if I don't sell them soon and I have an oportunity to buy these rims I believe I will.

        Cheers
        Josh

they are brock B1's with polished lips with tires mounted. 17/8.5 with a 13et 215/45/17s bridgestone potenza so3s.

I never used them the car hasn't even touch the road yet. I haven't worked on my coupe in quite a while, which is some what of a good thing. It's allowed me to think back some of the choices that I have made.

I don't think I can drive as aggresively as I would like with these brocks.. I want to have fun in the coupe and not worry. Even at 18s the RS will give me better piece of mind. I'll know even with the coupe lowered that I would rip a fender off.

            Cheers

              For ken:
              From miktips post on audiworld.

"The Flik's were a big mystery!

The first set which arrived from Edge Racing had a 4x114 bolt pattern! I phoned Edge, and they told me those wheels dont exist! After a few emailed pics of rulers on the bolt holes, Edge was convinced they existed! They promptly sent another set, this time assured to be 4x108. They arrived, I was sceptical, but they did fit, bolted right up, utilizing the OEM Audi bolt. )

Only thing I dislike is their offset. Stated to be 42mm, they look to be more. The wheel rim looks to be more inward, than I'd like. Definetly more than my BBS's at 35mm. I havent measured them yet to confirm. Plus I run 10mm spacers on the fronts only, to clear my brakes.

Other than that, they are nice wheels! Quite a few wheels out there, for Fords, which have the same 4x108, but I have heard some use different bolts or lug-nuts. Had to get hub-centric rings with them.

The Ford hub is 63.5mm, Audi 57.1mm. I just bought a set of hubcentric rings from TireRack, as my BBS RX's(both sets) were originally made for Fords. TireRack readily stocks the hub-centric rings, and sell's them for $3 each."

              Cheers
              Josh
