yeah, well as pete rightly pointed out yesterday it has probably been overboosting for last 20k or something...enough to kill any turbo really.....been offered one foe £140 thats done 140k but that seems very expensive for a turbo thats prob not got too much life in it...plus i'm looking into a slightly bigger turbo as i'd like to get a bit more out of it...although apparently someone got 160 out of the standard turbo

Enquire about getting yours rebuilt and uprated at the same time, probably the easiest thing to do to ensure you get a good one.

you will be able to get an entire engine for less than £250 if you look around, then you will have a spare injector pump. There are loads of them around.I may be able to sort you out something next week.

Does sound expensive to me. As spink says, buy a spare engine and get the goodies that go along with that, you'd make money back off most of the bits if you didn't want to keep the extra spares.

sounds like the best blan B atm, liking the idea of rebuilding mine now tho...at least i know it will be perfect.....depends on price tho and if they can even fix it...
