    wanted 3b head

Turns out my head has a crack in it which explains the continued water loss and milky oil. only good for scrap. So im after a 3b head thats in a good condition. Not too worried about cam condition as i have 2 good cams here.

Can anyone help? and yes the credit crunch is hitting me too so please dont rip me off! haha

You maybe better off with a 7A head as you don't have to worry about the cam sensor position either.

It's the ABY and ADU that need it, the 3B doesn't hence no problem.

All you need to have done is the water rail AFAIK

sorry jamo completely misread ur post, long day!

Yeah i have seen the post about drilling out the stud holes for the water rail.

if i can get a 3b then all the better as i dont really have time/facility/money to pay for someone to do that work to a 7a head

Thanks for the replies. will try spink.

@s2_southwest - PLEASE do NOT scrap that head... I'll pay to have it sent to me so I can have it sliced up in a machine shop as an aid to seeing how brave we can be when porting heads... I'll post up pics and details for all to share.

Where was the crack, was it visible or was it found through a pressure test.
