I'm hunting for another A6 quattro about the '99 or 2000 mark to replace the one the ******* **** wrote off last week. Any suggestions for good classifieds, other than autotrader, adtrader, pistonheads and ebay? There are loads online but usually have ads from june that aren't much friggin use

I'm trying to keep nearer the 3 grand mark.. erm.. mark. I have a thing for a 2.7 bi-turbo or maybe a 2.5tdi but the missus is trying to get me to find the exact car that was written off (2000 black 1.8t quattro saloon). It's not easy (I had just shy of 90,000 on mine) and to be honest i'd like a bit more welly

That silver one is nice and good price too but going from s2 to A6 quattro to fwd would just leave a little hole in my life
All in all it's hard enough finding that quality at the same price. I'll run about in a coupe for a bit though so i'm not forced into panic buying stuff.

Incidentally the missus phoned the other lad's insurance company and charmed 3 more days in the hire car out of the guy... after the assessor had made a deal with me including me giving the hire car back. well done her. should have had her talk to the assessor in the first place and I might have been looking for an RS6

the one with the blingy rims? yeah it looks a cracker. i'd change the wheels though (very quickly). It's 330 miles from me and i'd travel for a decent car no problem but obviously nearer would be handy. I do have that one in my scratchy beardy list though

yeah I wouldn't mind one of those for a good solid family car/workhorse. In fact life would be much simpler if the wife just let me buy what I want instead of vetoing blues and greens and all sorts of stuff.

found a 51 plate A4 avant 3.0 quattro in my area (ish) that makes me tingle in my special places. Out of budget but what the hell. The boy's too young to understand santa so if he doesn't get presents this year he'll not know he's missing anything. Yes, i'm going to hell.
