Recaro subframe S2 coupe

I bought a Recaro subframe from Demon Tweeks for £93.00 in May 08.

The reference number on my invoice was REC857727.

It allowed me to transfer / install a Mk 2 Golf Rallye recaro seat into my 95 ABY Avant. I just unscrewed the existing subframe base and bolted up the new Recaro one.

I use a Golf 3 Recaro subframe in my aby coupe. The number is 85.78.17. The height is a problem with sunroof.

I'm guessing this is why the part numbers are different. I am 6'2 and have a sunroof, and with a helmet I struggle as it is already!.

I'm going to look into fabricating my own with an Audi subframe.
