Pass... we need Paul or another S2 electornics bod to get on this thread.
I'll have to take a punt on some H1s soon, not too worried about the fogs, been looking to remove them and replace with brake ducts but space is not on my side there.Cheers'en, AndyC

I'll need to look at schematics to be certain but I think the front light monitor is only for dipped beams. The rear is for brake lights and tail lights.
Some HID kits cause the autocheck alarm to come one, some don't... Its got nothing to do with separate earthing.
The 1st HID kit I had was absolutely fine with Autocheck, but when that got upgraded to a better variant then I had to do relay pin hack to mask the alarms coming to Autocheck.
I dunno what HIDs will work like in the front fogs... Aren't they a normal reflector type lens instead of projector ?Paul Nugent

The fogs I messed with on mine were projector... I'll try get a pic later although I'm trying to persuade the Mrs down to VW to have a play in a new Scirocco for our runabout...Comment

Lol! I wish... Just her Pug is playing havoc with electrical gremlins, and we were thinking of getting shot anyway. As we're not driving to work much any more (not sure how long she'll last though!) we're saving a small fortune, and I want a Scirocco - she loves the look of them which is a bonus and the TFSI is only £170 a year tax where the diesel is £130. No brainer, get the one that sounds nice with the DSG box!
