What are you doing with the distributor gear?

I have a spare S2 exhaust cam - I'm sure others will as well - who have replaced with 7A exhaust cam - Can you remove the gears from the cams?

The right gear on the picture ?? U don't need that, except when u driving a 3B engine !!!

i dunno what i am saying actually, cause i dont remeber the old ones, i found this picture from dahlback web site and compared my current cams with them.
i am missing these three parts, but i am not sure if i need them all

as i understand i need only two bigger gears right?
i also wonder if it is possible to remove them from cams?

Yes - u just need the two bigger gears on an ABY/ADU/AAN engine !!

And normally it's NOT possible to remove the gears from the cams of a S2 or RS2
