S2 rods and pistons

I'm looking for a set S2 rods and pistons, need four rods and pistons.

preferably cheap

I don't think this will help, but I do have a set of 4 rods & pistons for the S2 I'd be willing to sell. Problem is, they're SPM forged rods so I don't think it's neccesary unless you're going for high torque, and I'd rather keep them than let them go cheap. I'd take £200.

Ross they probably be perfect, if he's after 4 bet it's for a Golf

16vt by the sounds of it.

the s2 rods are the same as the 16v so no need to waste on them if you have 16v. good for 360lbsft or so in 4pot form. standard bolts up for around 7krpm with not too much torque.

pistons i only have 16v ones. it must be a pl or kr if you want s2 pistons also.

Sorry, hadn't see this. Yes £200 for rods + pistons shipped. Rods were weight-matched to within 0.5g; used and as-is, they came from my failed S2 engine (bearing failure on #1 bigend). Would be perfect for a high-power GTi build.

i have standard aby rods and 82.5 mm brand new je pistons never used ring for details.the rods you can have for cheap but the pistons not so cheap.maybe we can come to an agreement.07929670762.adam
