    URGENT PLS - Steering rack pump

    Engine out, pump knackered as has forward and bakward movement.

    Has anyone got the steering rack pump ( in front of the IM) for an avant ABY.

      It should have some movment in it.

          How much would you say is allowed side to side and backwards and forwards?

              There is a seal set from Audi £12.00 with split pin but if there is backward and forward motion of more than 1cm is it the bearing or would this set sort it ?
