power steering pump

Mine is on its last legs... horrible grinding noise that is getting worse... anyone got a spare they want to sell?? Cash waiting! Thanks

Hi mate

Can u feel it thru the steering wheel?

I went out in the snow the other day for a bit of drifting and split the power steering pipe, now replaced the pipe, im getting a nasty grinding noise that I can feel each time i steer.

Is it definatly the pump? If so ill be after 1 too!

if it aint 1 thing ts the mother f#%king other!

cant feel it at all, can just hear it! cant miss it infact! there seems to be a few members now who are after one! good luck, i got tonight from here, ask around!

does the noise get worse on full lock??? im well pissed off cos i only bought it yesterday and wanted to be thrashing about all weekend! cheers for ya input mate

i got that on my previous S2, was not the pump , but a leak in the driving system, i did put back mineral oil each time the noise came back.....

am waiting for the part to arrive then will fit it asap. and will post the results... doesnt get worse on full lock btw

the noise gets worse on mine at full lock, i've got a pump on its way and ill post results when i get it fitted, could be a couple of weeks though. got alot on.
