Having some bad luck lately,
managed to kill 2 engine mounts and 2 gearbox mounts a week or so ago, so bought new ones from Quattor Corner (must say the service was impecable!) went to fit them on Saturday and managed to get the 2 gearbox ones done and the front one (underneathe the radiator), went to fit the one that sits underneathe the exhaust manifold, is an absolute PITA to get to the nut on the top without atleast taking the turbo off, noticed a mahoosive crack in the exhaust manifold, wasnt to fussed as ive got an RS2 one to replace it with so no big deal, then noticed a even bigger crack (snapped clean in 2) on the cast aluminium engine mount bracket that sits under the turbo! ******, havent got one of them!
so i abandoned the changing of that engine mount untill I can get a replacement the do the manifold, mount and bracket all together.....
so I need a bracket, its an ABY engine if that makes any difference and as i say its the one that bolts to the block underneath the exhaust manifold and onto the front offside engine mount
can anyone help.. id be eternally greatful!
the car seems to be falling apart at the moment!
